We take the time we need.<\/strong> I listen to what is happening in your body and in your life, not just what shows up on a chart.<\/p>

We talk through questions, fears, and what you are noticing.<\/strong> I check what needs checking, but I am not there to tick boxes. I am there to understand how you are moving through this pregnancy.<\/p>

If something concerns you, we explore it properly. If past experiences are present, we make space for them. If you want clarity around testing, birth choices<\/strong>, or possible changes, I walk you through your options calmly and without pressure.<\/p>

When it helps, we also work with your body directly. Biomechanics for birth, supporting your nervous system, helping your baby find a good position. These are part of how I prepare women for birth.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I arrive when you need me.
Early labour is yours. I do not rush that. When you are ready for me to be there, I come, and I stay.<\/strong><\/p>

Most of my work is quiet. I watch your breathing, your movement, the rhythm of your labour. I observe and listen to what your body is doing.<\/strong> I am reading signs that tell me if this is unfolding well or if something is shifting.<\/p>

I do not interrupt you to ask questions. If I need to check something, I tell you why and I wait for a moment when it makes sense for your body. I touch with intention, not routine.<\/strong><\/p>

If something changes, if I am concerned, if I think we need to shift course, I tell you clearly and without panic. We make decisions together based on what is actually happening, not fear or protocol.<\/strong><\/p>

We plan carefully, and we also stay responsive, because birth does not follow scripts. My hands are skilled. My presence is calm. My focus is completely on you.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I do not leave quickly, but I also respect the space your family needs to be together.<\/strong><\/p>

We take time. You meet your baby in your own rhythm. I am nearby, attentive, without rushing or intruding.<\/p>

We make sure feeding is working and that your body is recovering well. I make sure you know what is normal and what to watch for.<\/p>

I visit you at home.<\/strong> We talk about how the birth went, what you are feeling, how your body is healing, and how feeding is going. If anything needs attention, we address it.<\/p>

If you have booked postnatal care, I continue seeing you through the first weeks. We work with feeding if it is challenging, and we make space for what this transition is doing to you emotionally, physically, and mentally.<\/strong><\/p>

If you have not booked postnatal care as part of your package, you can still reach out if something comes up and we will look at what support is needed.<\/p>

You do not meet different midwives at each appointment. You do not wonder who will be there when labour begins or who will visit you in the early weeks afterwards. We work together over time, building one relationship that carries through the whole journey.<\/strong><\/p>

Continuity of care<\/a> is associated with lower rates of intervention, including reduced use of induction, episiotomy, and instrumental birth, and an increased likelihood of physiological vaginal birth<\/strong>. It also supports better outcomes in the postnatal period and a more positive experience overall.<\/p>

I work with a small number of families so I can offer that level of attention at every stage. This is not about doing more, but about knowing more.<\/p>

I will offer information, perspective, and my clinical judgement. I will tell you clearly if I am concerned or if I think we need to shift course. But I cannot make decisions for you. This is your body, your baby, and your experience.<\/strong><\/p>
